May the Force be with you! Today is International Star Wars Day! The day Star Wars devotees around the world celebrate 40 years of fandom! Just like them, we are HUGE fans and we've got some great Star Wars fun in store for you when Comic Con Revolution invades the Inland Empire - May 13th.

The Revolution needed the help of the Jedi so we reached out to the Saber Guild Outer Rim Temple and they heeded our call. Appearing in Booth 648 the Saber Guild Outer Rim Temple is part of the Saber Guild, a not-for-profit Star Wars fan costuming club that does choreographed lightsaber combat shows for charity and the community. They serve southern California's Inland Empire and the greater areas of Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

That wasn't enough so we reached out and hired some mercs and the Mandalorian Mercs LA chapter Manda'galaar Clan was more than happy to be a part of the cause. The Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club(Booth 649) is the world's premier custom Mandalorian costume organization. With 20 chapters in 7 countries around the world, members of Mercs take part in a wide range of activities, including local and international conventions, charity events, and fan gatherings.

And because we're gonna have a bunch of Jedi and Mercs running around The 501st Inland Empire Squad will be on hand to keep everyone in line, or subjugated, depending on your feeling about the Empire. The 501st Legion(Booth 550), also known as Vader's Fist, is a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans.

Star Wars & Empire Strikes Back Producer Gary Kurtz will also be joining us for a special First Look at his new project TimeWarpers at 5:30pm in Room 104B. A hybrid of live action and animation made by comic book fans for comic book fans. TimeWarpers is a team of superheroes that travel through time to correct the forgotten time-line remade by the P.U.N. (Prosperous United Nations). Using their newly discovered genetic powers they warp through time and thus the future of mankind lies in the uncertain past. Join the film's writer Craig Miller (Star Wars, Curious George, The Dark Crystal), director Max Forzan, producer Gary Kurtz (Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back), and members of the film's cast.
